ACTE, European Textile Collectivities Association, was founded in
Portugal, in 1991, by six municipalities and is currently one of the first associations of
local authorities at European level. The founding aim of ACTE is to represent and defend
the interests of territorial collectivities and adherent organisations that represent
territories with a presence of the textile, clothing, leather, footwear and fashion
accessories sectors.

ACTE supports the Fashion Festival 2013 in Tunis (TUNISIA) From the 4th to the 5th April 2013 will take place the 1st edition of the Fashion Festival in Tunis (Tunisia), organized by the National chamber of lingerie’s manufacturers. This innovative event will offer the chance to discover Tunisian designers and appreciate the know-how of garment companies in Tunisia. |

The 1st International Contest dedicated to the Innovative Textiles and the Design: FUTUROTEXTILES AWARDS 2012 The European Centre of Innovative Textiles (CETI) has launched, on October 2011, the Futurotextiles Awards 2012.
