ACTE - European Textile Collectivities Association

Welcome to the European Textile Collectivities Association
ACTE, European Textile Collectivities Association, was founded in Portugal, in 1991, by six municipalities and is currently one of the first associations of local authorities at European level. The founding aim of ACTE is to represent and defend the interests of territorial collectivities and adherent organisations that represent territories with a presence of the textile, clothing, leather, footwear and fashion accessories sectors.

	2nd edition of Badalona Moda awards young talents The City of Badalona / Reactivació Badalona, ACTE and the Gremi de Indústries de Confecció de Barcelona organised on 7 and 8 July the second edition of Badalona Moda.
	XVIII General Assembly approves strategic projects for 2010 The touring exhibition Futurotextiles, a commemorative publication of the 20th Anniversary of ACTE and the promotion of young designers are amongst the priorities for 2010. The Molise Region, the City of Tetovo and Organic Exchange become new ACTE members.
	ACTE Spain holds annual meeting in Sabadell The members of ACTE Spain took positive stock of the activities and initiatives carried out throughout 2009 at their annual meeting held in Sabadell on 20 April.
	ACTE calls for the safeguard of the European industrial DNA On 24 February, the City of Igualada and ACTE organised the workshop "Future strategies in the European textile cities" in the framework of the European Summit of Local Governments.
