How to become member of ACTE
ACTE has basically two categories of members: effective and adherent members.
Effective membership of ACTE is open to European local or regional authorities. Effective members pay an annual membership fee according to the size of population they represent and have the right to speak and vote.
Universities, research centres, chambers of commerce, business and trade union organisations or any other institution wishing to contribute to the objectives of ACTE may apply to become adherent member. This status gives them the possibility to participate in the associations’ activities and the right to speak.
Any European local or regional authority or other organisation may submit the respective application form to the ACTE Executive Secretariat.
New applications for membership are subject to the approval of the Executive Committee and the Annual General Assembly.
