ACTE and the ETUF:TCL call for the defence of the health

On 19 September 2007, Teo Romero and the President and General Secretary of the European Trade Union Federation: Textiles, Clothing, Leather, Valeria Fedeli and Patrick Itschert, presented in Brussels the Petition Fashion and Health.
With the Petition, ACTE and the ETUF:TCL wish to raise awareness of the health risks for European workers and consumers arising from the presence of dangerous substances in TCL products.
The Petition has been formally approved by the Executive Committees of ACTE and the ETUF:TCL on 18th September and will be tabled for adoption by the plenary sessions of ACTE member cities and regions in the coming months.
