ACTE constitutes an R&D working group

On 16th May, several adherent members of ACTE met in Lodz, Poland, to set the basis of an R&D working group, with the aim to exchange good practices, share ideas and enhance cooperation, including the presentation of common project proposal to be submitted under European programmes.
During the 1st meeting, following ideas for project proposals were presented and discussed by participants:

• REOTEXTILE – presented by Leitat Technological Centre, and focusing on the Reorientation of production activities supported by new technologies and materials in the textile-clothing sector.
• IPR TEXTILE – presented by CETEMMSA, with the aim to foster the innovation capacity and the entrepreneurship of SMEs in the textile regions of ACTE, developing coordinated policies, addressing support measures and promoting ICT solutions to better access and use IPR as a strategic tool for their business management.

Participants also agreed to seek for future cooperation in order to implement the two project ideas, and other initiatives of mutual interest.
