ACTE participates in EESC hearing on industrial change
On 6 February 2009, the Consultative Commission
on Industrial Change (CCMI) of the European Economic and Social
Committee (EESC) organised in Brussels a hearing on "The
global financial crisis and industrial changes in the main European manufacturing
and services sectors". Stakeholders from the European metal,
automobile and construction industries concentrated on the microeconomic
issue encountered by these industrial sectors facing increased pressure
to change as a result of the global economic crisis. ACTE was
invited to present the challenges of industrial change in the
textile sector from a territorial perspective. Our association
was represented by President Teo Romero.
