ACTE President visits Bulgarian textile territories
From 28 June to 1 July, ACTE President Teo Romero met
representatives from Bulgarian local authorities to introduce ACTE and
its activities and invite them to become members of our network.
On 29 June, Mr Romero met the Mayor of the City of Vratsa,
Mr Totyu Mladenov, the Deputy Governor of the Vratsa District
Administration, Mr Pishtikov, and the Deputy Governor
of the Montana District Administration, Mr Krasimir Statkov.
On 30 June, meetings were held with the Deputy Mayor of the City
of Plovdiv, Mr Gancho Kolaksazov, and the acting Mayor
of the Sofia Municipality, Mr Minko Gerdjikov. And finally, ACTE
President was received on 1July by the Mayor of Varna,
Mr Kiril Yordanov, and the Deputy Mayor of Bourgas, Mr
Krasimir Stoychev.
Given the importance of the textile and clothing industry in Bulgaria, Mr Romero stressed that the entry in ACTE of Bulgarian local and regional public administrations would give an value added to the association.
