	Lille Métropole and the City of Terrassa assume Presidency and Executive Secretariat of ACTE At the XIX ACTE General Assembly on 2nd April 2011, Michel-François Delannoy (Lille Métropole) and Pere Navarro (City of Terrassa) were elected new President and Executive Secretary of the association.
	Release of the commemorative publication "ACTE. 20 Years of Innovation" The commemorative publication for the 20th Anniversary of ACTE was presented on 1st April in Barcelona, in the framework of the XIX ACTE General Assembly.
	Teo Romero and Martine Aubry launch ACTE tour of the Futurotextiles exhibition in Barcelona The ACTE President and the President of the Lille Communauté Urbaine have inaugurated on 14th February Futurotextiles at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona. Córdoba, Prato and Ronse will be the next hosts.

	XVIII General Assembly approves strategic projects for 2010 The touring exhibition Futurotextiles, a commemorative publication of the 20th Anniversary of ACTE and the promotion of young designers are amongst the priorities for 2010. The Molise Region, the City of Tetovo and Organic Exchange become new ACTE members.

	ACTE President visits Bulgarian textile territories From 28 June to 3 July 2009, ACTE President Teo Romero met representatives from Bulgarian local authorities to introduce ACTE and its activities and invite them to become members of our network.
	Conference on innovation of the footwear sector in Macerata On 28 March, ACTE, in cooperation with the Province of Macerata, organised the international conference "Crisis and innovation: a possible pairing? Good practices and perspectives of the footwear sector in Italy and Europe" in Macerata, Italy.
	ACTE President participates in EESC hearing on financial crisis and industrial change On 6 February 2009, the Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI) of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) organised a hearing in Brussels.
	EESC President joins Petition Fashion and Health ACTE President and Executive Secretary, Teo Romero and Fabio Giovagnoli, and ETUF:TCL General Secretary Patrick Itschert met in Brussels EESC President Mario Sepi and representatives of DG Health and Consumers and Enterprise and Industry to present the Petition.
	ACTE President meets Mayor of Istanbul On 29th November 2008, Teo Romero met the mayor of Istanbul Kadir Topbas and its Director of Foreign Relations Selamettin Ermis to introduce ACTE and its activities and to invite the city to join the association.
	ACTE renews its commitment to innovation of the textile-fashion sector On 17th October 2008, ACTE organised the international conference "The thread of innovation" at the Museo Nacional de la Ciència i de la Tècnica de Catalunya in Terrassa, Spain.
	Meeting in Lille on innovative textile clusters On 22 and 23 July 2008, Executive Secretary Fabio Giovagnoli and representatives of other ACTE members met in Lille to discuss about the development of innovative textile clusters.
	XVI ACTE General Assembly in Lodz On 17th May 2008, ACTE hold its XVI General Assembly in Lodz, Poland. In the framework of this meeting, the conference InTexT – Innovation in textile territories was organised to discuss about the importance of innovation both for territories and enterprises and technology centres.
	ACTE constitutes an R&D working group On 16th May 2008, several adherent members of ACTE met in Lodz, Poland, to set the basis of an R&D working group, with the aim to exchange good practices, share ideas and enhance cooperation, including the presentation of common project proposal to be submitted under European programmes.
	ACTE Executive Secretary meets EU Commissioner Kuneva On 16th May 2008, ACTE Executive Secretary Fabio Giovagnoli met in Prato, Italy, European Commissioner of Consumer Protection Meglena Kuneva to present her the ACTE Petition Fashion and Health.
	New ACTE logotype The General Assembly of Carpi has selected the new ACTE logotype. The winning proposal was submitted by Maja Paukovic from Varazdin, Croatia. A total of 26 proposals from 6 European countries have been submitted to the call for proposals for the design of a new ACTE logotype.
	ACTE and the ETUF:TCL call for the defence of the health of European citizens On 19 September 2007, Teo Romero, and the President of the European Trade Union Federation: Textiles, Clothing, Leather, Valeria Fedeli, presented the Petition "Fashion and Health"
	ACTE participates in Euro-Med conference in Istanbul On 12 June 2007, the President of the ACTE General Assembly, Jerzy Kropiwnicki, gave an address at the conference "Textiles and Clothing Sector at the Time of Globalisation" organised by the European Commission's DG Enterprise and Industry in Istanbul.
	ACTE participates in Pro-Crisis conference in Thessaloniki On 20th January 2007, ACTE was invited to participate as speaker in the final conference of the European project Pro-Crisis in Thessaloniki, Greece.
