Fiber Design and Textile Processes
Sustainability, Technology, Design, Internet of Things: these are the key words of "Fiber Design and Textile Processes", which is a first level University Master degree that Città Studi Biella and POLI.design have designed to respond to the needs of companies looking for a new emerging figure capable of combining innovative and transversal skills.
The Master is completely in English and covers textile topics with a new approach, combining the phenomenal widespread of polymeric fibers with IoT (Internet of Things) and adding a whole new dimension in the textile processes including areas where high-tech materials are used.
Four modules (which you may register individually) include class lectures, company visits, group work and an internship period for those registered in the entire program to complete the Master. Applications are accepted from university graduates who are not working or who are currently working and wish to specialize in the sector in order to contribute positive benefits for the company itself.
The Master's strong point is the joint teaching of academics and industry experts for a business-oriented education, which exchanges ideas and compares itself with the industrial world. It is no coincidence that the program is carried out in partnership with the major Italian and International textile brands.
The Master will start in October 2018. Application for admission is now open.
Deadline to apply: September 3, 2018 (for Non-EU residents, 30 days prior to deadline).
