The INTER-TEX European Project, approved by the INTERREG SUDOE Program and implemented in the Vale do Ave region by ADRAVE-Regional Development Agency of Vale do Ave and by ATP-Textile and Clothing Association of Portugal, in partnership with AMAVE - Association of Municipalities of Vale do Ave aims to boost the internationalization of SMEs in the textile sector - confection of the European southwest, through public and private cooperation, and the development of joint transnational strategies.
The 3rd Transnational Meeting , organized by ADRAVE and ATP with the support of AMAVE, had the aim of analyzing, discussing and defining among other subjects, the various tools and initiatives to be developed in the next 6 months to promote the internationalization of SMEs in the textile and clothing sector in the regions of Catalonia, Valencia, Galicia, Southwest France and North of Portugal.
The transnational meeting was held on 10th and 11th of July at AMAVE in Guimarães, besides those responsible for ADRAVE, ATP and AMAVE, representatives of the following entities were present: Ayuntamiento de Igualada, Agrupació Catalana del Tèxtil i la moda - MODACC, Asociación de Empresarios Textiles de la Comunidad Valenciana - ATEVAL, Agencia para la Competitividad de la Empresa - ACCIÓ, Confederación Industrias Textiles de Galicia - COINTEGA and Union das Industries Textiles du Sud.
This way, in the next 6 months, will be develop by the Partnership Network different products, including participation in missions and B2B meetings in third markets, creation of transnational groups of internationalization, online sales initiatives, participation on commercial platforms in third markets and the launch of a "made in Europe" brand.
