New President and Executive Secretary of ACTE elected  


The ACTE Extraordinary Assembly, held in Guimaraes (Portugal) on 4 December, elected Teo Romero as new President of ACTE, succeding Jean-Pierre Perdieu. Mr Romero is mayor of Santa Margarida de Montbui and Deputy of Economic Promotion of the Province of Barcelona, Spain. Fabio Giovagnoli has been appointed as new Executive Secretary, taking over from Teo Romero. Mr Giovagnoli is City Councilor of Economic development and strategic plan of the Comune di Prato, Italy.

Furthermore, the Assembly also elected the new representatives of the General Assembly, Audit Court, Treasury and Vice-presidency for European Affairs.

  • Vice-president for European Affairs: Mr Edgardo Canuto, Comune di Biella (Italy)
  • Delegate for International Relations: Ms Colette Huvenne, Conseil Régional Nord-Pas de Calais (France)
